Goodness gracious, that looks big enough to be the Bible of Stephanie Meyer. WHY DO YOU EVEN HAVE THAT?
I kid.
Did I lend you the Life of Pi, or Mymy? I'm pretty sure I haven't lent you any books in a while so it must have been Maylene or Mymy or Maree. It's a great book, though. You should read it. :D Then we can have a Book Club session about it.
Zomg. We could start a Book Club. Do you want to start a Book Club? We could discuss a Neil Gaiman novel at some stage in the future. JT could be in it, and Maree, and Chris, and anyone we wanted, really, and we could start with The Graveyard Book!
Then we could read other random novels. (Movies are up for discussion/viewing too, for the lazy ones).
And when we get to Neverwhere, we can decide who we think should act as the Marquis de Carabas. JT has some ideas.
Whee J'elle, you wrapped it up with my birthday gift this or last year. I forget which. The book size was more from angles and such but it is the largest book in the pile... also Tiffany lent it to me D=
I'm not sure how good I would be in a bookclub as I ... haven't been reading in a while... Except the top book on the pile, Elephants on Acid. Science experiments. All [or much] in the name of science.
We're the kids at Monkey Socks -- a group of kids, learning or earning, living it up in good old Brisbane, Australia. Here is where we share our tales of crashing lectures or friend's houses, baking cakes or rolling in the grass at universities we don't even attend.
We're, according to Queen Anne, "a range of mismatched contributors, hoping to entertain each other if not ourselves."
